CHAOS - MAKING SENSE OF AN ENDING

In collaboration with Thomas Ryckewaert and his team, I searched for the best way to pour his theater work 'Chaos' into images so that outsiders are stimulated to want to see his work.

In Chaos - making sense of an ending, biologist and actor Thomas Ryckewaert tries to make sense of the events of recent years: the sudden death of his father, the lockdown, ecological disasters and a growing defeatism. Backed by math, ecology, science fiction, diary entries and Playstation games, Thomas battles his demons.

In Chaos, the boundaries between the intimate and the global, between inner and outer worlds, between reality and madness are blurred. Can scientific models bring solace to a cluttered and unpredictable pla- net? Can you simultaneously mourn a loved one and the end of the world? Is there poetry in theory? And what about theater?
